deckcalculator.org is a free online deck calculator. It is built to know as little about you as possible.
What we collect
Nothing, directly. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, no advertising, no analytics scripts, and no cookies set by this site. We never see the deck dimensions, prices, or anything else you type into the calculator.
What stays in your browser
Your last-used inputs and theme are saved with your browser's localStorage so the calculator reopens the way you left it, and your deck can also be encoded into a shareable link that only exists if you choose to copy it. This data never leaves your device unless you share that link yourself, and you can erase it at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare's network. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic connection data (such as IP addresses) in server logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details. We do not receive or store these logs ourselves.
Accuracy
The material counts and costs are estimates to help you plan and shop. They are not engineering or code-compliance advice; confirm structural spans, footing depths, and local building-code requirements with your supplier, permit office, or a qualified professional before you build.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
